The Notion pricing calculator for teams with agents.

Seat pricing hides in multiplication. Enter your real team — the full-timers, the contractors and client liaisons who also need to edit, and the AI agents doing the drafting — and see the monthly bill on Notion Plus ($10) or Business ($20) per member/mo billed annually (July 2026) next to Novum OS at $4 per human seat/mo billed annually, first agent free, additional agents $8/mo.

Monthly seat cost by plan for your team (all prices billed annually, July 2026)
PlanHuman seatsAI agentsPer month / per year
Notion Plus13 members × $10No agent seats — API integrations share workspace rate limits$130/mo$1,560/yr billed annually
Notion Business13 members × $20No agent seats — API integrations share workspace rate limits$260/mo$3,120/yr billed annually
Novum OS13 human seats × $4first agent free + 1 × $8$60/mo$720/yr billed annually

All prices are monthly-equivalent annual-plan rates as of July 2026. Month-to-month runs higher on both products (Novum OS: $6 human / $10 agent). Notion’s published pricing puts AI features in its Business tier; neither Notion tier sells agent seats.

How to read the numbers

The default example is a real agency shape: 9 full-timers, 4 contractors and client liaisons, 2 AI agents. That is 13 member seats — $130/mo on Notion Plus, $260/mo on Business, $60/mo on Novum OS (billed annually) — with the agents themselves as the only difference in kind: on Notion they are seatless API integrations under shared workspace rate limits; here they are members with identity, scoped credentials, and an audit trail.

The pattern to notice: the cheaper the seat, the more of your real team ends up on the board. At $10–$20 a head, agencies ration seats and the contractors work over email; at $4, everyone who touches the pipeline is just on it.

What Notion gives you that we don't

Be clear-eyed about the other column. Notion’s price buys a genuine workspace suite: wikis, a full docs product, databases with formulas and rollups, gallery and timeline views, and AI features bundled into the Business tier. Novum OS has none of that — it is a kanban board whose cards are block-tree documents, plus the plumbing agents need (REST API, MCP server, webhooks with the changed fields inline). If your team lives in Notion docs and formulas, stay on Notion — cheerfully, with our blessing. If what you actually run is a board, stop paying for the suite.

Quick answers

What does Notion cost per seat in 2026?

At published pricing (July 2026), Notion Plus is $10 and Notion Business is $20 per member per month billed annually. Every human who edits — full-timers and part-time contractors alike — needs a member seat.

How are AI agents priced on Notion vs Novum OS?

Notion has no agent seat: an API integration connects free but works under shared workspace rate limits (documented average of 3 requests per second) with no member identity. On Novum OS an agent is a member with its own seat, credential, and audit trail — the first agent is free and additional agents are $8/mo billed annually, with the same standard rate limits as humans.

When is Notion still worth the price?

When you use what the price buys: wikis, a full docs product, databases with formulas and rollups, gallery views. Novum OS has none of those — it is a kanban board with document-shaped cards, an API, and agent seats. If your team lives in Notion docs, stay happily; if you mostly run a pipeline on a board, the seat math below is the argument.

Run the pipeline at $4 a seat — free tier first, no card required.
